I spent the first half of my adult life as a cop in southeast Texas. The second half I spent as a part time cop and a private investigator, active in professional associations and writing for law enforcement and private investigation trade journals. I was involved in writing two novels when the Covid 19 pandemic hit and noticed a barely mentioned fact that a Harvard professor was arrested for selling U. S. secrets to two Chinese spies, one of whom was a lieutenant in the People's Liberation Army assigned to a lab at the Wuhan University of Science and Technology, ground zero for the pandemic.
Mina Mauerstein Bail, sociologist, mother, and grandmother was born in Italy and raised in the United States. She has traveled extensively, lived and worked in many countries around the world. She lives with her husband in New York City. This is her first children’s book.
Richard Baran holds a doctorate and two masters’ degrees besides his bachelor’s in business. A Navy veteran, he taught and coached for forty years at the secondary school and collegiate levels. His first three novels, The Jacket (published in 2014 by Total Recall Publishers), Where Have All the Go-Go’s Gone? Book 1 and When Will They Ever Learn? (Where Have All the Go-Go’s Gone?) He and his grammar school sweetheart, Carol Ann have eighteen grandchildren and they divide their year between Franklin Park, Illinois; Phoenix, Arizona, and Minocqua, Wisconsin.

Nowhere to hide is one of three books that I have written. Tyler’s Secret and Tracy’s Savior are the other two. Tracy’s Savior has already published, and Tyler’s Secret will be the next to be released. I currently live in Galveston Tx, but originally from Bryan, Tx. I have my husband Joe, my mother and five dogs living with me and my three daughters and two grandchildren live back home.
I Love the Flower Girl is one of two novels I plan to publish. I have a Master of Social Work degree and undergraduate degrees in social work and psychology. Experience working with adults with mental illness and in child welfare and completing two novels have helped me hone my writing skills.
Marc A. Beausejour was born on July 28, 1987 in Queens, New York to Haitian parents Jean and Lineda Beausejour. Known early on as a poet, Beausejour has written poetry for churches, weddings, funerals since the age the age twelve. A few years later, Beausejour and his family moved to Kennesaw, Georgia where he would continue writing, releasing two spiritual poetry books in his twenties; Words On High: Poetry And Inspired Events From MAB (2011) and Rising Higher Than Ever (2015).
Gordon Beck reside in Missouri where he was born on a cold February morning. He traveled by thumb for many years until he settled in adult years. He worked in roofing have been a high-pressure water blaster. Through the years he has sat by peoples bed sides as they went through their transition from life to death. He served as a taxi driver for a number of years, and retired from that occupation approximately five years earlier. He has been asked through the years by many acquaintances to record his life due to the fact he had what some described as a colorful life, to say the least. Now that he has entered into his later years he wants to write his heart’s desire.

Dr. Lucas G. “Luke” Boyd was born in a three-room shotgun house on Jabe Dunaway’s place near Anguilla, Mississippi in the depths of the Depression. His father managed one of those sprawling cotton plantations the Delta was known for, and it is this plantation culture that left an indelible mark on young Luke.
After a stint in the Army and then earning a Ph.D. in English History at the University of Tennessee, he began a career in education that spanned 48 years both at the secondary and college levels. He retired after serving for 19 years as Principal of Battle Ground Academy, a private college preparatory school in Franklin, Tennessee.
Donald Brewer spent 26 years with the United States Secret Service, retiring as the Special Agent-In-Charge of the Counterfeit Division in Washington, D.C. Don spent his early years as an undercover and case agent in the Atlanta Field Office before moving to Miami, where he spent 11 years in the 1980's when Miami was the counterfeit capital of the world. In one 24-month period, he and his squad suppressed 26 counterfeit manufacturing operations. He has appeared on the Discovery Channel and the Learning Channel in episodes detailing the manufacturing of counterfeit U.S. currency. In 1999, he appeared on National Public Radio (NPR) to educate the public on the issuing of the newly designed U.S. Currency. In addition, he has given speeches and made presentations regarding counterfeit U.S. currency at various conferences and seminars sponsored by Interpol and other foreign police agencies.
Don and his wife, Linda (pictured), are the proud owners of two Peruvian Paso horses (SRR Animoso and LEA Torreon), and have ridden in a number of shows and parades. Don is a throat cancer survivor, and after 10 years, has been declared cured. Such victories do not come without a price; Don now speaks with an electronic artificial larynx. The couple split their time between St. Simons Island, GA, and Cotopaxi, Colorado.
